This particular painting was not hard to do although its time consuming. I felt I could have done a much better job with the feathers but I was running out of patience. hahahaha.
For the background it took me several washes before I achieved the dark background. I made the mistake of removing the masking tape before it was completely dry so in the morning there was a major warping. I had to tape it down again.
